What if television had been invented during the time that the English colonies were being founded in North America?

Instead of relying on printed flyers and word of mouth to attract settlers, the founders of colonies might have made infomercials.

The seventh grade students researched life in the American colonies during different times. They worked in small groups and chose one time period and colony to write and present an infomercial encouraging English citizens to settle in their colony.

As a final project each group video taped an infomercial in the broadcast studio and presented it on television!
